Jamea Masjid is Preston's central mosque, serving the local Muslim community and beyond through religious, educational and charitable services. Located on Clarendon Street, the organisation operates as a registered charity (No. 515749) dedicated to spiritual guidance, community enrichment and social development.

The mosque provides comprehensive prayer facilities with regularly updated prayer timetables for daily salah and Friday Jumu'ah services. Beyond worship, Jamea Masjid operates Madrasah Taleemul Islam, an evening educational programme offering Islamic classes for children across Preston's surrounding areas, ensuring younger generations receive structured religious instruction.

A distinctive feature is their commitment to transparency and accessibility. The mosque offers live audio and video streaming of services, allowing remote participation in adhaan, prayers and religious lectures (bayaans).
