Heart of Enfield (HEM) is a faith-based community organisation serving the diverse Muslim population across Enfield, Waltham Abbey and surrounding areas. Currently operating without a permanent mosque building, they've established three dedicated locations for Friday prayers and daily worship whilst fundraising towards their goal of constructing a purpose-built facility in Enfield Lock.
The organisation distinguishes itself through a holistic approach centred on four pillars: faith, community, education and philanthropy. Rather than offering worship alone, HEM actively engages all demographics through targeted programmes. Their HEM Supplementary Schools teaches Islamic fundamentals to children aged 5-16 through interactive, engaging sessions.
