Colchester Central Masjid, officially known as the Colchester Islamic Cultural Association (CICA), is Colchester's first mosque, established in 1985. Located on Priory Street in the town centre, it serves as both a place of worship and a vital community hub for Muslims across Colchester and the surrounding area.
The masjid facilitates all five daily prayers, with particular emphasis on Jumu'ah (Friday prayers), offering two congregational sessions at 12:30pm and 1:15pm in winter, and 1:30pm and 2:15pm in summer to accommodate the growing community.
