# The First Accrington Masjid Mosque

Established as Accrington's pioneering Islamic place of worship, this masjid serves the local Muslim community with daily congregational prayers and Quranic teachings. The mosque facilitates five daily prayers according to Islamic tradition, hosts Quranic study circles, and organises religious education programmes for children and adults. It provides spiritual guidance, organises community events during Islamic festivals including Eid celebrations, and offers funeral rites services. The masjid functions as a cultural hub, fostering interfaith dialogue with local organisations whilst meeting the devotional and educational needs of Accrington's Muslim residents.
